Getting Started
Set up your account and create your first dynamic link in just a few minutes.
Prerequisites
To get started with LinkSense, you need:
- A valid email address for account registration
- A destination URL for your first dynamic link
- Optionally, an iOS or Android app for deep linking setup
Create Your Account
Go to the registration page
Visit the registration page and enter your email address and a password.
Verify your email
Check your inbox for a verification email from LinkSense. Click the confirmation link to activate your account.
Complete onboarding
After verification, you will be redirected to the dashboard where you can start creating projects and links.
Free plan
All new accounts start on the Starter plan, which is completely free. You can upgrade to Pro at any time to access higher limits and additional features.
Create Your First Project
Projects are containers for your dynamic links. Each project gets its own subdomain.
Open the dashboard
Navigate to the dashboard and click the "New Project" button.
Enter a project name
Choose a descriptive name for your project (e.g., "My Mobile App" or "Marketing Campaign").
Choose a subdomain
Pick a unique subdomain for your project. This will be used in all link URLs (e.g., myapp.linksense.net).
Create the project
Click "Create" and your project is ready. You will be taken to the project dashboard.
Subdomain tips
Choose a short, memorable subdomain. It cannot be changed after creation. Good examples: your app name, brand name, or campaign identifier.
Create Your First Link
With your project ready, create your first dynamic link:
Click "New Link"
From your project dashboard, click the "New Link" button.
Set a name and path
Give your link a descriptive name and optionally set a custom path (e.g., /summer-sale).
Add a fallback URL
Enter the default destination URL where users will be sent (e.g., your website homepage).
Save the link
Click "Create Link" and your dynamic link is live. Copy the URL and share it anywhere.
Test Your Link
After creating your link, test it by:
- Opening the link on your phone — verify it routes to the correct destination
- Opening the link on desktop — verify the fallback URL loads
- Sharing the link on a messaging app — verify the social preview appears (if configured)
- Checking the analytics — visit the link details page to see your test clicks
