Question 1

How do dynamic links work?

Accepted Answer

One link covers every case. If your app is installed, iOS and Android open it directly from the Universal Links and App Links files LinkSense hosts on your subdomain — with the full URL intact, so your own code decides what to show. If it is not installed, the same link goes to the App Store or Google Play, and on a laptop to a landing page. No SDK, on every plan.

Question 2

What analytics are available?

Accepted Answer

Every click that reaches LinkSense is recorded with device type, country and referrer. The free plan keeps 7 days of history; Pro keeps all of it. Two limits worth knowing up front: there is no CSV or data export today, and a link that opens your app directly never reaches our servers — the OS matches it on the device — so the best outcome is also the one we cannot count.

Question 3

How do I migrate from Firebase Dynamic Links?

Accepted Answer

Create a project, point your subdomain at LinkSense, and recreate your links. Device detection, app opening and short paths carry over. Check two things before you switch: LinkSense matches the exact path, so there is no wildcard or prefix routing — /reset?token=abc resolves to your /reset link, but /reset/abc does not — and query strings are not forwarded through the store. The Firebase migration guide walks through both.

Question 4

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard settings. Your access continues until the end of your billing period, after which the account reverts to the free tier. There is no trial to cancel — Pro is charged upfront, with a 7-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for details.

Question 5

How fast are redirects?

Accepted Answer

Resolution runs at the edge — a Worker in the data centre nearest the visitor, not a round-trip to an origin server. We do not publish a millisecond figure: the number we used to quote measured a warm cache, and a first, uncached lookup is slower. The fastest path is the one with no redirect at all — when your app is installed, the OS opens it from the association file already on the device.
